Funding Opportunities?
Services provided by Wellington County Speech Therapy can be covered by private health insurance or the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding.
Where To Start
The first step is booking an assessment!
If you have not had an assessment completed by a Speech Language Pathologist in the past 6 months, this is where to start! Everyone starts with a Speech Language Pathologist for an assessment. From there, Wellington County Speech Therapy will find the clinician that best suits your needs and schedule. You do not need a referral to get started!
If you do have a recent assessment completed, perhaps by the school board or a publicly funded clinician, reach out! Wellington County Speech Therapy often can work from these assessments and get you started in therapy right away. Be sure to bring a copy of all previous assessments with you, as well as any imaging you may have had completed (if applicable).
